The Name of Japan creates traditional, hand-carved name seals (known in Japanese as Hanko).
We do this in our family shop in Kamakura, Japan. With time-honored skills acquired over three generations.
Our mission: To preserve and promote the legendary Hanko craftsmanship of Japan, even as the number of certified engravers decreases.
As one who loves Japan, you feel the urgency of our mission and wish to support our artistry.
